Fun fact: daiquiris aren’t exclusively for summer anymore. Daiquiris are one of my favourite cocktails to sip on a hot summer day whilst yelling at the kids to stop throwing rocks at each other, so I thought it would be a good idea to bring a winter version into the mix (minus the rock throwing, of course). I’ve also included a bonus video where I walk you through the making of this cocktail as well as a bunch of embarrassing things I did in my younger years. Enjoy!

Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 ½ oz clementine juice
- ½ oz lime juice
- ½ oz cinnamon simple syrup
- 2 oz white rum
Here’s what you’ll do:
- For the cinnamon simple syrup, combine the water and sugar in a small saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil. Once sugar has completely dissolved, add two cinnamon sticks. Allow to simmer for 10 minutes, remove from heat and discard cinnamon sticks. Allow syrup to cool completely.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add clementine juice, lemon juice, cinnamon simple syrup and white rum.
- Cover cocktails shaker and shake for well for 10 seconds.
- Pour cocktail into a glass and garnish with clementine or lime rind.
