Raspberry Simple Syrup
Forget the store-bought stuff, this homemade Raspberry Simple Syrup recipe is the perfect way to add a bit of sweetness and enhance your cocktail game!
1 fine mesh sieve
1 glass jar
- 1 cup Raspberries fresh
- 1 cup Granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoon Lemon juice freshly squeezed
- 1 cup water
In a small saucepan, combine raspberries, granulate sugar, lemon juice and water. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Remove from heat once sugar has dissolved.
Mash raspberries in syrup mixture to release juices. Allow to cool.
Strain with the help of a fine mesh sieve. Discard solids.
Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 4 weeks.
