2020 Local Gift Guide

It’s officially 10 days until Christmas. If you’re anything like my former self, you may have just started Christmas shopping, in which case you may or may not be currently hyperventilating into a brown paper bag. Fear not, local friends, because this year I’ve scouted out some of the best last-minute gift ideas and included them in this post just for you. Bonus: no need to worry about annoying shipping times because all of these items are found locally! Woo!

EF Esthetic & Medi Spa

There are so many noteworthy products at EF Esthetic & Medi Spa that it’s hard to choose just one. This being said, I’m OBSESSED with the Bkind products they offer. They’re 100% plant-based, not tested on animals, and are completely safe for the environment. Do you have someone in your life who deserves a little self-care? Then wrap a bottle of their Linen Water and a tube of coffee and peppermint moisturizing scrub. Seriously – so worth it. Also, feel free to also purchase a gift certificate with Ariane, who is an absolute wizard when it comes to brows. Click HERE to follow EF Esthetic & Medi Spa on Facebook.

Lex Boutique

If you’re looking for the plushiest slippers EVER to gift a loved one this holiday season, Lex Boutique is the place to get them. These hand knit slippers by Lemon come in your choice of blush pink or soft grey and I honestly can’t get enough of them. Pair these slippers with a fun set of PJs and voila! Another item worth mentioning are these cozy, super soft leather gloves. Click HERE to follow Lex Boutique on Facebook.

ABC Designs

Attention all animal lovers! If you want to gift your fur baby with some cute apparel this holiday season, check out ABC Designs. They offer handmade bows and scarves in various sizes and patterns that are too cute to pass up. Click HERE to follow ABC Designs on Facebook.

Croissant Delice

If you want holiday treats this year without the hassle, Croissant Delice has got you covered. Honestly, whether you order a box of bites, a Christmas Yule log, or any of the freshly baked pastries on the daily menu, you simply can’t go wrong. My personal fav of the season has been the hot chocolate bombs. They were a lot of fun to do with the kids and absolutely delicious! They’d be perfect while opening gifts Christmas morning – just saying’. Click HERE to follow Croissant Delice on Facebook.

Sports Experts

Winter is officially upon us and pair of waterproof ankle boots can prove to be a both stylish and functional gift to give. If you aren’t sure what to buy your significant other and want something that’s as useful as it is cute, there are tons of options available in the store. These two boots by Merrell and Kamik were my personal favourites (the detailing on the Kamik pair were adorable)! Click HERE to follow Sports Experts on Facebook.

Dumais Fruits et Legumes

This little market is pure gold. The amount of stocking stuffers that can be found for the foodie in your life are abundant. If you have a caramel lover on your Christmas list, I highly recommend picking up La Lichee spreads. They come in a variety of flavours and are delicious. This being said, there are lots of unique items to be found that aren’t edible as well, like the Unscented Company products which I personally use daily. Reimagine Design

Found inside Decoration Beatrice, Reimagine Design is new to the Restigouche landscape and definitely worth the visit. Between their cozy throws, cute planters, boho rugs and an array of mugs that I immediately wanted to take home and fill with coffee, I’m convinced you’ll find something for that special someone in your life. Salon Finesse

If you want a gift that is eco-friendly, 100% natural and vegan, Salon Finesse has a great face mask option for you. Really, with benefits like toning, brightening and cleansing, who wouldn’t want one of these under their Christmas tree? Salon Finesse is also a one-stop beauty shop offering services such as gel nails, eyelash extensions, lash lifts and hair styling. If you’re a last minute shopper, a gift certificate can definitely save the day! Grab one from the salon and your worries are over. Click HERE to follow Salon Finesse on Facebook.
